Ted Keith (UNC ‘02) is an assistant managing editor at Sports Business Journal, the Charlotte-based media outlet that has been called the Bible of the sports business industry. At SBJ, Ted oversees a variety of topics, including baseball, football, hockey, soccer and finance. Before coming to SBJ in 2018 he spent 15 years at Sports Illustrated in a variety of roles, starting as a writer as reporter at SI For Kids, then as a staff writer and editor at SI.com and later as a senior editor for SI.com and the parent weekly magazine. He has also had stints at ESPN The Magazine and Apple News. Originally from Long Island, Ted now lives with his wife (also a 2002 Carolina graduate) and their two sons in Chapel Hill.
