2019 Bio:
Lisa Estrin is the Director of User Experience for NBA Digital at Turner Sports. In this role, she leads experience strategy, user research, and UX design for NBA Digital’s domestic products and services, including the NBA App, NBA.com, and NBA League Pass. She loves working with multidisciplinary teams to solve the unique challenge of designing great digital products that serve both the fan and the business.
Before joining the NBA Digital team, Lisa led UX for NCAA Digital, including the NCAA March Madness Live suite of digital products.
Prior to joining Turner, Lisa started her career in User Experience as a UX Architect at Moxie, specializing in e-commerce and content strategy for Verizon, L’Oreal, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Lisa attended the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Film and TV program and graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Lisa stumbled upon UX while earning her Ed.M. In Technology, Innovation, and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. While she studied to create digital learning experiences for kids, she enjoys the challenge of designing digital sports experiences for grownups. Lisa cheers on her beloved Tar Heels from Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, daughter, and pit mix Frank.
