Dahl oversees all aspects of large, historically based projects, including original content development, films, production, programming strategy, distribution and sales. Additionally, he is the content lead for all college sports-focused documentary programming across ESPN’s networks, highlighted by the SEC Storied series.
Throughout his award-winning career at ESPN, Dahl has focused on documentary work and original content initiatives. Prior to his efforts on 30 for 30, Dahl was a Producer for SportsCentury and the 50 Greatest Athletes series, before moving on to Executive Producer responsibilities for ESPN Classic and the ESPN25 project, a special on the 1958 NFL Championship Game, and anthology series highlighting Muhammad Ali, the history of NASCAR and the first 40 years of the Super Bowl. He graduated with Honors from the University of North Carolina in 1986, with a degree in Radio, TV and Motion Pictures.
